Selecting Search Criteria
There are several ways to identify which funder, content, or grant you would like to explore.
- Use the search bar at the top of the page. You can use the drop down to the left to search by funder name or content name.
- Select a funder from the list on the Funder Home Page.
- If you search for a specific content topic, you will be led to a more detailed search page, where you can identify further criteria on the left side of the screen.
Navigating the Dashboards
- When you select a specific funder dashboard, you have the option to set a specific date range to adjust the insights you are viewing in the article views + downloads graph.
- To see greater detail on the Citation and Usage By Article table, click the two arrow icon in the top right of the table.
- You can also sort this table according to each column, selecting whether you want to view the data in ascending or descending order.
Attention Data
Attention data is provided by our partner, Altmetric, and is all-time data providing insights on how often content in the Sensus environment has been cited in the news, blogs, social media, and policy. This attention data is applicable only to publishers participating in Sensus who are also Altmetric partners. You can learn more about these clarifications on our Partners page.
Viewing Specific Articles
- When you identify a specific article you want to look at, either through search or from the tables on the Funder Dashboards, you will be taken to an article-specific page. On this page, you can see the identified funders in the top right. You will also be able to see relevant metadata about authors, publishing history, and OA licenses. It is easy for viewers to navigate to the publisher site, and the abstract is available for viewing directly on this page in addition to the data availability statement if present.
